Ptolemaic (332-30 BC)
Ŧ Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos (Auletes) (80-51 BC)
Comments: The sacred lake is an integral part of an Ancient Egyptian temple complex. It played quite a varied role in the day-to-day life of the temple - as an image of the primeval ocean, as a stage for ceremonial boat trips and as a reservoir for water.
