Comments: This is the only survived structure from the Mamluk peri- od (1250-1517) on the territory of Al-Qalaa (Citadel). The rest of the monuments were destroyed during Mohammed Ali Pasha anti-Mamluk purges (1811). It had been put to use as a stable during the period. |
