Comments: Each of the colossal statues has a name: "Sun of the
Rulers", "Ruler of the Two Lands", "Loved by Amon" and "Loved by
Atum". Hewn out of the rock face, they are the same in typological
terms as free-standing statues, such as the ones from Luxor.
