Comments: In Classic Maya representations, Visison Serpents appe-
ared to people in trances induced by blood sacrifice. The faces of invo-
ked ancestors or gods were shown protruding from the wide-open jaws
of the snakes (sample 1 & sample 2). Here it's just another reptile.
