Comments: On the hills by the great Chiapas river Usumacinta stand ruins that are gradually being cleared of the invading vegetation. The great Mayan site possesses Classic palaces whose style resembles that of Palenque: mansard-style roofs, cresteria, wide stairways, reliefs. |
