Comments: A good
example of pseudo-dynastic royal propaganda. The depiction of Yaxun Balam (Bird Jaguar) IV's mother combined with the false date (741 AD) links the probable usurper's family to the reign of the earlier king Itzamnah Balam (Shield Jaguar) III (681-742 AD). |
