Comments: The ruler Jahaw Chaan Muwan II shown at the height of his reign. The importance of this lord is expressed in the way he is por- trayed (ceremonial staff in his hand, penetrating gaze) and in the diffi- culty of the task of hewing 6 m-high monument from a thin stone slab. |
