North Acropolis & Temple II (Masks Temple)
Late Classic (600-900 AD)
Ca. 702 AD, Ŧ Jasaw Chaan K’awiil I (682-734 AD)
Comments: Temple II stands on the opposite from Temple I side of
the Great Plaza. It's probably the burial temple of Kalajuun Une' Mo'
(Lady 12 Macaw), the wife of Jasaw Chaan K’awiil I, although current
excavations have not yet provided any indications of a burial chamber.
