Comments: This 1,545 m high mountain is the most exalted of the "Five Sacred (Daoist) Mountains". It has been climbed by many promi- nent people, including Qin Shi Huangdi and Kong Fuzi. The emperors had to climb it to demonstrate that they have the Mandate of Heaven. |
